Description
This event is aimed at those looking to export to the US for the first time and for those already exporting but looking to expand their reach.
The event will be hosted by MSIF with the Department of International Trade.
The GDP growth rate in the US in 2016 was 1.6% and is expected to rise to 2.3% in 2017 on a GDP of $18.56 trillion and a marketplace of 323 million people. This is the single biggest consumer market in the world, with average consumer income of $56,516.
The Department for International Trade (DIT) will be on hand to advise on the support available to companies looking to export and MSIF will advise on the funding available to help your company grow.
Guest Speaker
Roger Frampton’s very successful career in the software and technology markets included taking two companies public to help launch them in the US. Ten years ago, he and two co-directors founded ExportAction to assist UK companies establish, develop and operate in the US. Since then, ExportAction has helped more than 250 UK companies across all sectors to market in the US and Roger will tell you what to do and what not to do to be a success in the US!
This is a breakfast event that will finish at 9am for anyone needing to head back to the office, but we will also provide an opportunity for further questions for those who wish to stay.
For those looking to dip their toes, or expand further into, the US market, we look forward to seeing you there.
