FW Capital appoints new investment executive

FW Capital has appointed a new Investment Executive to help deliver Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund loans to businesses across the Tees Valley.

David Jeffery will be responsible for helping small and medium-sized companies to achieve their growth aspirations by offering funding solutions from NPIF – FW Capital Debt Finance, which is managed by FW Capital and part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund (NPIF).

David has more than 30 years’ experience in the business banking sector. Before joining FW Capital, he spent 26 years with Virgin Money Commercial Banking, including a period as the credit executive for the North-East.

More recently, he was the relationship manager working with SMEs with turnover up to £30m across the North East, covering a diverse range of sectors.  He will be based at FW Capital’s Wynyard office.

David Jeffery, FW Capital Investment Executive, said:  “I am delighted to join the team at FW Capital and I am looking forward to supporting local businesses.

FW Capital can provide loans of £100,000 to £750,000 in the NPIF region with a focus on Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, and the Tees Valley.

The Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund project is supported financially by the European Union using funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020 and the European Investment Bank.
